Returns & Refunds

All our paints are bespoke products, manufactured at the point of order.  We are also unable to accept returns of paints, except in such case as the product is found to be faulty, please consult the faulty items section below.

Please see below for our Policy regarding damaged or incorrect orders.

Please contact the Mail Order Department regarding the circumstances of the requested return via sales@hmgpaint.com or 0161 205 7631.

If, on arrival of your order, the item(s) are damaged, please contact the Sales Order Department on 0161 205 7631 before 3pm and the necessary replacement item(s) will be dispatched the next working day.

You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of the date you received your item(s).

If you would no longer like the item(s), you can return them to us at your expense to the address below:

Unfortunately we cannot refund items that have been opened, used, or damaged while in transit due to improper packaging.

If after making a purchase you wish to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund immediately as long as the order has not been dispatched. If your order has been dispatched but not reached its destination, you will receive your refund once your order has been returned to us.


Colour Accuracy – Due to the variability of computer and screen settings, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match between the actual paint colour and the colour as seen on-screen or when printed.
For avoidance of doubt, we recommend that you confirm your colour selection using a hand-painted colour cards.
We would suggest painting onto an A4 piece of paper or card so you can view the colour in different lighting conditions.
