Bricks & Soul is owned and founded by property developer Victoria Sinclair who develops properties across Greater Manchester from terrace house renovations to luxury home room transformations. Victoria has partnered with HMG Paints for all her property renovation coatings from Masonry to Emulsions.
Challenges
Bricks & Soul acquire numerous homes across East & North Manchester most that have been abandoned for a number of years and left in a dilapidated state. The company required a partner who could advise on the restoration process as well as providing a suitable product. Bricks & Soul also focus on preserving features in period property renovations and knew HMG Paints have extensive experience in listed building renovations.
The Solution
Working with HMG’s Marketing team and Decorative Sales Manager the company created a detailed process and specification for each of the houses.
The HMG Decorative Collection contained the perfect products for all the coatings required for the variety of surfaces in the project including; new and old plaster, trims, doors and even exterior walls.
Victoria worked with the Marketing Team to develop and craft a modern and contemporary colour palette for use on the variety of projects ahead.
Throughout the project Bricks & Soul have utilised the on site technical support HMG offers with advice on exterior and interior surface preparation and application.

Vinyl Matt Emulsion
A premium quality flat matt emulsion for interior use on wall and ceiling surfaces, where a flat non-reflective finish is required.
Gloss Finish Trim Paint
A premium quality gloss decorative and protective finish for use over correctly prepared joinery. Ideal for windows, doors, soffits and fascia
Acrylic Primer Undercoat
A premium combined primer and undercoat suitable for interior wood, hardboard and plaster. Provides an excellent base for topcoat.
Contract Emulsion
A decorative matt emulsion that has excellent opacity which improves as the paint dries. Excellent results can be achieved with a single coat.
The Result
The East & North Manchester abandoned homes have been stunningly refurbished and have been placed on the market for exclusively for first time buyers and the period property renovations are helping home owners re-love their homes.
